Bad Kitty Doesn't Like Candy
by: Nick Bruel Bad Kitty Does Not Like Candy is about a kitty that wants candy, but doesn't like the candy when she tries it. The kitty lives in the owner's house, and is trying to get the candy off the counter. The kitty is silly, because it said it liked candy, but when she tried the candy she didn't like it. My favorite part is when the kitty spills the candy. Kids should read this book because it's funny. I am so proud of our RHES Wildcats! We already have 19 book reviews posted. I will am excited to share some the reviews on our homepage. Keep reading and keep posting your reviews, Wildcats! You are doing an awesome job! The review below was posted by Kourtney.
Who Was Elvis Presley by: Geoff Edgars Did you know Elvis Presley was a twin? Read Who was Elvis Presley to find out more about him. The story took place in Mississippi and Los Vegas. Elvis Presley was an exciting entertainer. My favorite part of the book was when they named Elvis sightings. I would suggest this book to my friend Jaelyn because she likes Elvis Presley. Do you love dogs and books that rhyme? If you said yes, then you should read The Detective Dog by Julia Donaldson. This fun rhyming picture book introduces the reader to Detective Dog Nell. She can solve mysteries with her super sniffing abilities. Nell loves to find missing things around the house to help her family. Peter, her boy, loves taking Nell to school on Mondays for story time. The story gets exciting when Nell and Peter go to school only to find all the classroom books are missing! Nell is on the case. She sniffs the air and leads the whole class on a hunt through the town to find the books and who took them. Read The Detective Dog to find where the books are found and who took them!
