I love sharing story time in the media center with you. I look forward to reading with you here in the virtual media center. Beginning Monday, March 23rd, I will share a story time right here! Dan Gutman, the author of the My Weird School series has granted permission to educators to read his books aloud. Miss Daisy is Crazy! is the first book in the series. I will post our read aloud Monday-Friday by 9:00 am. Watch here and then respond with your predications, ask questions, share your ideas, and opinions using our virtual media center Flipgrid. Fluffy, the media center guinea pig will be co-hosting.
Story time is my favorite part of the day. I find a comfy place to read. Make sure you are reading daily. The Flipgrid link below includes links to different online stories. Listen to a story and afterward, take the building challenge. Each story will have a different challenge. You can build using LEGO blocks, paper, cardboard, etc. Use your imagination. Name your creation and share it using the Flipgrid below. Do your best work. Your might just end up on the morning news!
How much time do you spend on the Internet each day? What kinds of activities do you do online? When you are using the Internet, you are a digital citizen. Are you a good digital citizen? What does it mean to be a good digital citizen? Participate in the Flipgrid below to learn more. Your responses might be highlighted on the morning news!
